High alumina cement

High alumina cement (formerly known as bauxite cement) is a hydraulic binding material mainly composed of aluminates. It is prepared by blending bauxite and lime in a certain ratio and then through calcination and grinding. It is also called aluminate cement.

Other name: High-alumina cement

Model Number: High-alumina cement

Certification: ISO9001/ISO14001

Minimum Order Quantity: 5MT

It has excellent fire resistance properties, including high temperature resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance and low shrinkage at high temperatures. This type of cement is specially designed for high-temperature environments, such as furnace linings, kiln linings and other fire-resistant devices. It has the characteristics of rapid setting and hardening, with high early strength and strong resistance to chemical erosion, and is suitable for acidic environments.

Advantages of high-alumina cement

Large amount of hydration heat

The early hardening of cement releases a large amount of heat. Compared with the same-grade Portland cement, it can release 70-80% of the total hydration heat within just one day. Due to multiple heat releases, it is suitable for concrete projects requiring low-temperature curing. As the best supplier in China, Coric provides customers with the highest quality products.

Strong resistance to sulfate erosion

The cement stone structure of high-alumina cement is dense, with the main component being low-alumina calcium carbonate, and the content of calcium oxide is very low. During the hydration process, free calcium hydroxide does not precipitate, but it will form an aluminum hydroxide gel. A protective film will form on the surface of the particles.

Excellent high-temperature resistance

It remains in a solid state even in high-temperature environments, and the strength of the cement does not change. High-alumina cement can be used as the binding material for heat-resistant concrete, or it can be configured into heat-resistant concrete. Welcome to visit the Keli factory to obtain a free quote.

Early strength characteristics

Its early strength increase rate is much higher than that of rapid-hardening Portland cement, making it suitable for emergency repair projects. However, the later strength will decrease, and its application in structural engineering is limited. Coree will provide you with professional solutions and high-quality products.

The application of high-alumina cement Construction industry

High-alumina refractory cement is commonly used in the production of refractory components in the construction industry, such as refractory bricks, refractory plates, and refractory mortars. It can be applied in flues, kilns, heat treatment furnaces, and other parts of buildings to provide high-temperature resistance.

Metallurgical Industry

High-alumina refractory cement is commonly used in high-temperature equipment in the metallurgical industry, such as blast furnaces, converters, and electric furnaces. It can be used as an inner lining material to protect the equipment structure from damage caused by high temperatures and chemical erosion.

Petroleum and Chemical Industry

In the petroleum and chemical industry, high-alumina refractory cement is widely used as the inner lining and protective layer for high-temperature equipment such as oil refining units, chemical kilns, and reactors. It can withstand the high temperatures and corrosiveness of petroleum products and chemicals.
